Nothing changes on New Year's day

A bit over two weeks into the new year and - I'm in class, exhausted, tired of the smell of coffee yet smelling like it, have photos to process, digital photos to upload and orginize, homework to do, my room could use cleaning, laundry needs to be done, there are ants in the kitchen and cookie dough to be baked. So in short nothing changed. Still not enough time for what I would love to do.

Over break I was lucky enough to be swept off my feet by an excellent book, The Picture of Dorian Gray. Excellent. As in truely worth reading and I read it slowly as to fully enjoy it. I was dissappointed when I reached the end and promptly recomended it to two regulars, several friends, coworkers and my livejournal flist.

Good friends are still friends and I once again appriciated how lucky I am to know them. But sadly now I'm unable to see them as regularly as I did.

Anyways I'm taking 18 units and with those classes comes homework which I shall avoid procrastinating further on. Off to numb my mind!
