Olympics cause sleep deprivation.

Olympics are here and thus Urv is glued to the TV. And with class, work, family and friends I've found time is scarce and things to do are numerous. So life is good but busy. But I think that's better than being bored. Only downside is that I'm losing sleep too.

Thoughts on mistakes

Looking back on what would be arguably called a social mistake I've noticed more oftan than not when I make similar mistakes it is not due to being unaware. Generally I see potential risks before they play out and ignore the costs in favor of the potential gain and find temporary rewards which do not last long because of the risks I saw and continued dispite the presence of.

Along the same lines of logic I quote a song from Rent, Tango Maureen:

MARK: So you think, might as well...
JOANNE: ...dance a tango to hell
BOTH: "At least I'll have tangoed at all"

Still dancing. And I know the music will eventually stop, but what's to stop me from enjoying it while it lasts?
